Casa Del Sol

The Northwest Contemporary project harnesses the splendor of its island surroundings to create a warm, earthy home in the San Juans. The living room’s NanaWalls give way to an exterior living area and blur the boundary between indoor and outdoor living. Inside, stone, wood, tile, and potted trees mingle into a singular sanctuary--a natural shelter from the elements. A tower incorporates a wildlife lookout into the family gameroom. Glass walls wrap the master suite on three sides in order to maximize the surrounding waterfront beauty.
